Enjoy the glitz and glam of the Riviera from one of the top hotels in Budva. From large and luxurious to cosy and boutique, the choice is yours.
When you stay in Budva, you get a true summer vacation vibe – there are beaches galore, music, restaurants, bars and that buzzing holiday atmosphere that lets you know you’re in a real resort town.
There’s also a huge variety of hotels to choose from. As with hotels in Kotor old town, when you stay in or close to Budva old town you can expect a certain amount of noise in summer. Bars stay open and play music until 1am and this can be heard also at the hotels nearest to the town.
But you don’t need to be right in the heart of town to be within a stone’s throw of beaches, restaurants and things to do. There are plenty of beachfront hotels just outside of town that will be your perfect home base.
You can stay at any of the beautiful hotels along the Budva Riviera. For these options I recommend Becici, Przno, Rafailovici, Sveti Stefan, Rezevici and Petrovac.
Petrovac is the furthest away at around 25 minutes from Budva so you're never very far from town but you have less traffic and most importantly, that seaside village feel that you've come to Montenegro to experience.
If you're coming outside of high season (July and August), Budva is a great place to stay. It's central, busy but not crazy busy and has better beaches than the Bay of Kotor.
In fact, May, June, September and October are ideal times to stay in Budva. You'll find the beaches are uncrowded and the overall atmosphere more laid back.
Local's Tip: When you book your accommodation anywhere along the Budva Riviera, book a room with sea views, even if it costs extra. It's worth it!
So, without further ado, here are the top recommended hotels
in Budva.
Far enough away from the centre of Budva to be peaceful, but close enough that you can get there in a few minutes, Dukley Hotel and Resort is one of the best luxury hotels in Montenegro. From the rooms and apartments, to the top-rated restaurant, to the fabulous Moët and Chandon Beach, Dukley is fabulous.
From the hotel you walk along Slovenska Plaza to Budva old town, but if you don’t feel like walking just jump in the hotel’s complimentary boat transfer. Budva has plenty to offer visitors too; wander around the 2,000 year old old town, enjoy the thrills of Aquapark Budva, dance until the early hours at Tophill nightclub and explore some of Montenegro’s top attractions, like Kotor, which is just 23km away.
